I created this new collection of instruments for other practitioners who are looking for cost-effective surveys and assessments that can be quickly and easily used with their teams. These tools are based on research on teams as well as my work with teams in a variety of organizations. Equally important, use of the instruments does not require a lengthy and expensive certification process. Perhaps most important, the contents of this handbook are fully reproducible for use within your organization.
Each instrument includes an overview of the research, model or concept upon which it is based, the purpose of the instrument and the steps involved in the administration of the instrument. Where appropriate, I have provided a scoring sheet and interpretative guide to the results.
The book is divided into three categories of instruments:
