Being a Team Player: A Web-Based Course
Being a Team Player provides instruction on team participation through an interactive, self-paced learning experience that creates opportunities to improve skills and knowledge and adjust behaviors. CITE>Being a Team Player is an indispensable learning and reference tool for people working in teams or as individual contributors.
The best part about is that it is truly INTERACTIVE . . . beginning with the second screen in the course, you are challenged and engaged with a variety of problem scenarios, self-assessments, games, simulated e-mails and voice mails, instructional puzzles and text input boxes. Many organizations are also using the course in conjunction with classroom training for team leaders and facilitators.
The course content covers how to be an effective team player and team meeting participants, how teams work, what to do when they don't work, how to communicate with your teammates and basic team tools. Interspersed throughout are tips, factoids, links to web sites, and quizzes along with a link to the instructor, a link to other students taking the course. A pre-course test and an end of course assessment are also included.
