Team Presentations:

Overview:

We provide one to two-hour keynote, after-dinner and other similar presentations for corporate meetings and conferences. While the content may differ, all the speeches share these common elements:

  • Positive and Up-Beat: The focus is on the ways to make teams effective and how to overcome the obstacles.
  • Practical Advice: Ideas and solutions that have been tested and are easy to implement.
  • Interactive: The format includes opportunities for lively audience involvement.
  • Tailored: All presentations are tailored, in content and format, to the audience. I speak with the client to determine the desired focus of the talk
  • Research Based: Recommendations are grounded in solid business research.
  • Humor: All sessions include some appropriate breaks for fun and laughter.

Sample Topics:

  1. Meeting Excellence: Tools to Lead Meetings That Get Results. We dig deep to present "Best Practices" in the three phases of a successful meeting: (1) Preparing for the Meeting, (2) Facilitating the Meeting, and (3) Closing and Following Up on the Meeting.
  2. How To Be A Team Player: An interactive session that uses the Parker Team Player Survey to help people to identify their personal team player style and how to use the information to increase their effectiveness in team situations.
  3. Teaming With Strangers: A combined presentation and audience involvement program that focuses on cross-functional teams---their advantages, the obstacles and, most importantly, proven success strategies.
  4. 8 Things We Know For Sure About Teamwork: Provides an opportunity for the audience to benchmark their teams and their organization against the results of research on successful teamwork
  5. 10 Ways to Ensure Your Teams Will Fail! With apologies to David Letterman and tongue firmly planted in check, a humorous look at what organizations do that get in the way of successful teamwork..
